Robin William’s Death
The world is a comedy to those who think, a tragedy to those who feel.
Horace Walpole (1717-1797), English historian and member of Parliament
Robin Williams’ death reminds us comedy
Is never far removed from tragedy,
That what we call improvization,
Is the essence of humor’s foundation,
That the truly creative and gifted,
Often have the rest of us uplifted.
And that the tragedy of mental illness,
Is that it may end in premature stillness.
