One Party’s Pride, Another Party’s Glee
Pride goes before destruction, and a
haughty spirit before the fall.

ObamaCare's authors are being mugged by reality in real time, before our eyes.

I.
Doctor Jim McDermott, a psychiatrist
and a notable Democrat.
A tried and true Washington State
Congressional technocrat,
Says his party will be “proud “ to
run on ObamaCare.
in the upcoming November midterm election
affair.
Nancy Pelosi says her party should “stand tall” for reform,
And by doing so will take the House
and Senate by storm.
They must be in denial if they see ObamaCare as lemonade not as a lemon,
As giving people health care for free, as sweet manna from political heaven.
II.
Meanwhile the Republicans are rubbing
their hands in glee.
at negative polls for ObamaCare as far as the eye can see.
They foresee people when left to their
own personal devices,
as unwilling to prop up others at the cost of personal sacrifices,
Such as paying “sticker shock” health
plan prices and deductibles,
At previously unheard of and at totally unaffordable multiples.
They foresee every mandate of ObamaCare
being postponed and delayed,
They foresee the individual
mandate for them as a political hand grenade.
Tweet: Some Democrats in denial see ObamaCare as a
political plus, Republicans see it as a
golden opportunity to win House and Senate.
